Sea lions are eared seals. They have a blunt snout, a large chest, a small tail and coarse hair. Sea lions can walk on land with their long foreflippers. They are excellent swimmers and divers. Sea lions live in large groups and feed on fish and marine creatures. They inhabit coastal areas in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
