Koala
Phascolarctos cinereus
Koalas are robust, tree-dwelling animals with strong claws and opposable digits on their feet. They are often nicknamed a "bear" due to their appearance, but they are marsupials. Koalas are cuddly creatures and are known for their solitary nature. They feed on eucalyptus leaves and inhabit eucalyptus forests in eastern Australia.
