Pesquet’s Parrot
Psittrichas fulgidus
Pesquet's Parrot, also known as the Dracula Parrot or Vulturine Parrot due to its goth-like appearance. It is a large parrot which has deep black and bright red plumage, unparrotlike, long pointed head and raucous call. Pesquet's Parrots live in rainforests and cloud forests of New Guinea and their diet primarily consists of figs.
