Ostriches are known for their impressive size, with long necks and legs. Native to Africa, they are the largest and heaviest living birds in the world. Ostriches are flightless birds, but are the fastest running birds on land. They are the only birds with two toes on each foot. Ostriches lay the largest eggs of any living land animal.
