Seahorses are small marine fish. They are known for their horse-like heads, prehensile tails and their unique reproductive process. Seahorse males carry fertilized eggs in a brood pouch on their abdomen. They swim upright and have camouflage abilities. Seahorses are found in shallow, tropical and temperate coastal waters worldwide.
