Mandrillus sphinx
Mandrills are the large Old World monkey species. Males are larger and are known for their brighter, more colourful faces and butts. Mandrills have long, olive to brown body fur and small beard. They are diurnal and are omnivores. Mandrills live in large groups and spend most of their time on the ground. They are native to West Central Africa.
