Kites are birds of prey. They are known for their long, narrow wings and forked tails. Kites also have a small head, a partly bare face, a short beak and weak legs with a light build. They can soar and glide through the air for an extended period. Kites are known to scavenge for food. They are commonly found worldwide in warm regions.
