Alligator
Alligator mississippiensis and Alligator sinensis
The alligator is a large carnivorous reptile that living relic from the age of dinosaurs. They live in both freshwater and brackish ecosystems. These reptiles commonly dig burrows called "gator holes" in which they rest and avoid weather extremes. Alligators belong to the family Alligatoridae and falls under the order Crocodilia.
